Weekly Misdirected Mark Productions News – November 20, 2022

Summary: This week’s new episodes.

Show Recaps

Here are summaries of new episodes from Misdirected Mark Productions this past week:

THAC0 with Advantage. Favorite Settings
What’s your favorite DnD setting? The whole episode is about that. From the lightning rails and skyships of Khorvaire to the many doors of Sigil. The Sword Coast to the grand city of Zobek. Absalom, Lankhmar, the Astral Sea, and Castle Ravenloft are all on the travelogue for today.

Panda’s Talking Games 295 – November Chit Chat
Phil and Senda chat about…the chit chat we were going to have last week if only Senda weren’t sick! As usual for our chit chat episodes, we talked giving us life in gaming and giving us life outside of gaming.
If this is your first episode, please know that this is not our normal format! We’ll be back to tinkering around in the engine of your game if it’s making weird noises next week.

Misdirected Mark #495 – The Living Setting
Settings are a part of all ttrpg’s and the majority of storytelling forms that exist in the world. But I wonder if yours is a living breathing world that moves and functions even if your PCs do nothing? It’s ok if that’s what you’re looking for but if you want a setting that isn’t just reacting to the characters actions then this is the episode for you.
