Skritches One. A Dearest Murder
Horns are used for defense against predators in the Animal Kingdom. But they’re also used to fight members of ones own species and even in mating rituals. But Hayburn city has no need for using Horns in defense of ones self, The Athroanimals are a more civilized brand of animal, they dress in clothes over their fur and scales, they drive vehicles rather than run on all fours, those who hunted for food in the past and ate other animals only eat fish and shell fish. This is modern animal kingdom, and to give into ones nature ones animalistic side is looked down upon. So why did we start with horn’s, because Deora Trots, the CEO of Dearest Baked Goods has been found dead in her penthouse, strangled with a piano wire, her heart removed and found partially eaten as if by a bird, and two goat horns, driven into her eye sockets. To add theft to murder, the Malachite human was stolen from Deora’s safe. The priceless sculpture is one of the last depictions of the long extinct race known as humans in the world. This is Skritches, a story a crime, comedy, and drama.
