They’re A Super Geek #7 – Halo ‘n’ Horns/Stakes & Strategy

They’re A Super Geek is a one-shot actual play live stream created by 3 BIMPoC players to highlight the voices of marginalized folks in the TRPG scene. We feature gender marginalized GMs and a diverse rotating cast of players.

In this episode, Connie Chang (she/they/he) joins hosts Jeremy (they/them), Kristin (she/her), and Mariam (they/them) as they play not one, but two RPGs! First up is a micro RPG by Connie Chang called Halo ‘n’ Horns, a comedy game about an angel and a devil trying to get a mortal to do something. Join Jeremy as the Devil, Kristin as the Angel, and Connie as our mortal as they attempt to get Connie to either steal a police car or adopt a litter of kittens!

Next up, Mariam joins the group to GM Stakes & Strategy, a Lasers & Feelings hack designed by TASGeek co-host Jeremy! Stakes & Strategy is Jeremy’s love letter to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and is an easy-to-pick-up game filled with monster slaying and teenage angst!
